However, due to the tanking economy there is no pot of gold in sight. The leprechauns' frugality could not come at a worse time. The discovery can only be described as a sad reflection of today's life and times in the US. The rainbow tragically ends on an tollroad in Southern California.

But perhaps there is still somewhere over the rainbow where blue birds fly?
